Yesterday, North of Highway seven, next to a new housing development, just behind the Children’s Hospital, there was a fire 500 feet away from the wellhead. I followed the black smoke to find the event, and I took pictures of the whole aftermath while the firemen were still there.
The fire was composed of vintage cars, that have been stored in an old chicken coop. I spoke to someone who was there in the morning to help them move some of the vintage cars, and he said that during its peak the flames were as high as the neighboring trees. Here is the video showing how close the wellhead was to the fire. The wellhead is in the beige fence at the end of the chicken coop.
